| Miami Winter Music Conference
2002
With Yellowdragons latest track Life is a dream
to promote at the Miami music festival, there was some serious legwork
to do! Having completed two tours of Cannes for the Midem music
festival, Miami was a totally different vibe.
The stand element of the Miami conference is low profile but the
party/club scene could not have been more buzzing.

In the day time there
were informative talks and the one of special interest was Danny
Tenaglia giving his views on the dance industry, alongside Roger
Sanchez and friends. |

All the big name DJs from around the globe were there to showcase
their talents and where it was possible a white label of Life
is a dream was slipped into their hands.
Night-time is when the action really started for everyone. The clubs
are in a class of their own and filled with exotic women bred to perfection!
| On Monday
after a fine party on Pete Tongs boat it was only polite
to pick him up in the back of our cab with the DVox
magazine crew on the way to our hotel. With of course leaving
a couple of vinyl for the Tong collection!

Having a drink on
Todd

which is a totally cool venue, was a good start to the Tuesday
evening after covering the MWC awards |

| Luckily we just managed
to slip inside with the Born

And what better way
to end the week than sharing some chicken nuggets with
Carl Cox in the airport lounge before we got on the plane
home. |
