Midem 2004 was spononsored by Denmark, so it's likely that we'll see some up and coming danish acts in the charts this year. The industry is rapidly becoming digital with a new products such as the Rio Chiba being launched at the show. has finally begun to embrace online distribution. It was a very productive trip for Yellowdragon, and we managed to hook up with the likes of Peter Gabriel and Brian Eno, as well as having the pleasure of photographing rising British star Katie Melua (who, as the picture shows, happens to be a fan of Master Simon Wong)

Good to see that eastern philosophy is starting to make an insurgence in the music scene, in the form of artists such as Tibetan singer Dechen Shak-Dagsay and compilations such as The Buddha Experience and Zenbeats. Watch out for much more of this in the coming years!
